About the Draft Law “On Public Associations” in Tajikistan
On December 4, 2014 a meeting with the participation of the Minister of Justice Mr. Menglieev Rustam Shomurotovich and CSOs (media, civil society organizations, the donor community, parties, etc.) was held in the building of the Ministry of Justice, the Republic of Tajikistan. The purpose of this meeting was a discussion of Amendments and Additions to the Law “On Public Associations” (hereinafter referred to as Draft law) of the Republic of Tajikistan, drafted by the Ministry of Justice of Tajikistan. In this meeting, the participants expressed their concern about the initiatives of the Republic of Tajikistan on adjustment and restriction of NGOs’ access to financial assistance. It should be noted that comments and suggestions to the law, including the Ministry of Justice, were made by the participants, where comments were taken into account by the Ministry of Justice. But we will see how well they will be considered after the approval of the Law, or in the following steps of upcoming meetings.
International Day of People with Disabilities in Tajikistan
Rozikov Zaytuna was born in 1985, she is the athlete of Tajikistan, tennis and weightlifting champion. In 2007, in Iran she won the first place in the Asian Games among women, and in 2012 she won the 3rd place in the competition with the participation of many countries such as China, Korea, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and other countries in the Asian region.

Debate – Building tolerance
I am Rukhshona Jamoliddinova. Currently I am 23 years old, and I graduated Russian-Tajik (Slavonic) University, faculty of History and International Relations. Presently working as a volunteer-translator in the International Organization UNICEF. Also I am volunteer in many social youth organizations, such as Y-PEER in Tajikistan (It is the international youth educating network, which principle is “Peer -to peer“, performed by, monitoring and an assessment of programs for prevention of HIV infection and to strengthening of health of youth) AIESEC in Tajikistan (it is a platform for young people who wants to develop and make a positive contribution to society, and also it is a platform which gives the chances to young people to participate in the international training programs, and also to get leadership experiences, it is directed various projects and activities of the organization). Foundation Neki (we work with disabled children, the educated trainers teach disabled children drawing, sewing, computer technologies. In every national holiday, foundation will organize actions with active support of international and local organizations), AKHP (Aga Khan Humanities Project) Debate Club (it is developed on the basis of development of a mental ability of youth and in particular will organize educational actions).
