Model United Nations conference in Kazakhstan
The “Model United Nations (MUN) – New Silk Way” conference took place in Kazakhstan and was one of the biggest simulation in Central Asia that reflects the work of the UN.
Applications for the Model UN Conference in Almaty
The application process is open for the New Silk Way International Model United Nations conference that will take place in Almaty on 29 April -1 May, 2016!
This university-level Model UN conference is the largest of its kind in Central Asia and will involve participants from Central and South Asia, as well as Europe. NSW MUN will provide the opportunity to practice and develop your skills as you move forward in your careers, and serve as a networking platform for young leaders.
The financial support is available for the participants from the following countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Afghanistan and India.
- If you are traveling from Pakistan, India, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, or any other country except for Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, please apply by March 1, 2016.
- Applications deadline for the delegates from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan is March 14, 2016.

Forum-Theater workshop in Kazakhstan
Theatrical performances help increase knowledge, change the mindset and behavior, and also raise and discuss sensitive topics in groups. The statement focused on the promotion of certain messages, and also creating an emotional response in the audience, who can deduce inferences. During the play the actors can show the results of misbehavior, and through audience participation in the performance, the audience can feel the danger of risky behavior and adopt the safe side, thus securing their understanding about the relationship between the decisions and their results.
