World YWCA, UN Women and UN Inter-Agency Network on Youth Development’s Working Group on Youth and Gender Equality are pleased to announce the first Youth CSW Forum to be held before the 60th annual Commission on the Status of Women (CSW60) on March 11-12, 2016. The Concept Note is available here.
This forum will be open to all young women and young men between the ages of 18 and 30. It will allow the voices and perspectives of diverse youth from all walks of life to be heard during CSW60. Youth will discuss the issues they face on local, regional and global levels and form a declaration to be read at CSW60.
However, as not every young person will be able to attend CSW60, an online consultation is open so more people can contribute from their regions and be part of this ground breaking, first of its kind, Youth CSW.
If you are interested in contributing and have your voice heard, spread the word and join the Youth CSW online consultation here featured on the World We Want – it will be open until 10 March 2016.
