Macedonia is proud to join the regional campaign focused on youth participation in the United Nations’ development agenda post-2015, “Youth voice-the future that I want in Eastern Europe and Central Asia” which was launched in the early October of 2014. We are calling on all young people to come and present their views on issues that affect them. The campaign in Macedonia is implemented by the Y-PEER network, and its motto is “I share my ideas loudly”.

Joining this campaign Macedonia wants to give a chance to young people to have their voices heard; to help young people in articulating their demands in the following phases of the initiative; and to ensure full participation in a democratic society in which they live.

So, we invited young people to present their messages by writing them down on a piece of paper, to take photos of them and their messages using the FACE-in-HOLE banner. The photos were than shared with the public and decision makers during the exhibition held on 30th November, 2014 in the Youth Cultural Center. Furthermore, during the exhibition three short-plays were going on in different time. The plays “Stories from the hallway” were presented in form of a collage of several interesting stories about risky behaviors and situations of everyday life of every youngster and were told through music, light, puppets, dance, etc. The plays “Stories from the hallway” through creative ways aimed to raise awareness among young people about ways of transmission of HIV / AIDS, sexually transmitted infections and proper sexual care.
